Chakra Readings Red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet.  These are the seven colours that make up the light spectrum of the rainbow and the seven colours that make up the light spectrum of our auric fields.  Each colour is a wave length or specific frequency and each chakric point is a vortex of that particular freuqency.  Red is the colour of the base chakra located on the perineum, Orange is the colour of the sacral Chakra located approx 2 fingers below the naval, yellow is the solar plexus chakra located just below the breast bone, green (and pink) the colours of the open heart, blue the throat chakra located on the thyroid gland, indigo the third eye or pituitary gland, and violet the crown chakra located on the top of the head.  Each chakra colour denotes particular traits and characteristics that, depending on the status of the energy centre will be operating at it’s peak or be in need of balancing.  For example, the base chakra (among other things) is strongly linked to our energy levels so when that chakra is closed or even slightly out of balance we will experience an almost incurable tiredness, should the sacral chakra be closed or even slightly blocked this can affect the flow of emotions and finances.  The chakra reading will look at each energy centre and although we all have the same seven energy centres, we are all “wired” to operate at different energetic frequencies and harmonies.  Each reading is therefore completely unique to the individual.
